Marine debris is a growing environmental problem and is a major threat to the health of the Great Barrier Reef. This session will illustrate how you might engage your students to undertake a clean-up and litter audit before developing a source reduction plan.

A source reduction plan aims to improve environmental awareness, reduce waste, promote sustainability within your school community, and support the health of your local waterways and the marine environment.
